Every one of us can make a difference and have an impact in this world. Start with the small things. You and your team could choose for example to implement some of the following goals:

• Support education, and provide books to a local orphanage
• Protect the environment and save paper in the office by recycling
• Provide travel cards to your staff to encourage them to make more use of public transport when carrying out their work. Can you incentivise them to walk or cycle to work and provide showering facilities?
• Do you know whether infectious diseases are an issue in your supply chain or in the communities you source from or operate in? If so, what is your company doing to address this?
• Support sustainable lifestyles by educating your consumers on using, recycling or disposing of your products or making best use of your services.
• Introduce water awareness goals and encourage water efficiencies, i.e. to reduce, recycling or encourage the safe reuse of water.
• Support your suppliers to monitor ’ workplace health and safety performance.
• Consider opportunities to reduce packaging size, saving costs as well as using less plastic.
